Personal Video Recorders (PVRs)

A PVR is a set top box with a built-in hard drive. Most PVRs on the market have two digital TV tuners built in, allowing you to watch one channel while recording another.

Because all your recordings are stored on the hard drive, you can record two channels at the same time while watching a TV show you've previously recorded. You can also pause and rewind live TV and even set your favourite TV series to record automatically depending on the PVR.
